I have put a chalk line around the 3 tires for placement in the hangar.
The entry door now misses the wing. The hangar mates are placed in the
most efficient spots. Should work out nice for everyone. T41 holds spot
#1.
With winter on its way, a reminder that I have kitty litter in the blue
box on the south side of entry door for use in front of hangar if we get
ice build up. Also I have ice bite for use in front of the entry door. The
entry door heaves up a bit and winter requires a little shoulder shove to
get door open at times. If you find yourself inside the hangar with main
door closed and entry door a bit stuck, just use small pulls on the handle
and the door opens. The city is usually good about plowing after snow. I
usually get out to snow blow after each snow fall to get the cement in
front done.
Just leave the heat on if you are going in or out. Each heater has a
wall on / off switch. The plane is available to fly winter and the
escaping heat is what it is. 35 degrees is the heat setting. The floor
fans on top of the office rotates the air - heat nicely. The plane heats
up nice at cruise and not much at idle. I think the coldest I have flown
the T41 is 20 degrees with no wind chill.
